Delayed one day after Thanksgiving
The city has not posted a 2026 notice. The city pickup calendar for a Friday-route address in Priority Waste's area shows no pickup on Friday, Nov. 27, and pickup on Saturday, Nov. 28. Both haulers' written rules delay service one day after a weekday holiday. Use the city lookup for your address.
Priority Waste observes Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and service on or after the holiday that week is delayed one day. Waste Management delays collection one day for the rest of the week when a holiday falls on a weekday.
The city lookup covers garbage, curbside recycling, bulk and yard waste. Two haulers serve the city: Priority Waste (east of Woodward and south of I-94) and Waste Management (west and northwest).
