Republic delays service one day on or after Christmas
Republic Services observes Christmas Day. If your service day falls on or after the holiday, it is delayed one day. No dated 2026 Christmas notice is posted. Households with another hauler should check that hauler.
The city posts no holiday rule. Republic Services' Fort Collins page lists the holidays it observes. Service on or after a listed holiday is delayed one day.
Private haulers collect trash, recycling and yard trimmings. For single-family homes and small multifamily buildings (seven or fewer units), the city contracts with Republic Services. Residents can opt out and choose their own hauler.
Phone: 970-416-2012. Find your own collection day: city lookup.
