Thursday collection moves to Friday, Friday to Saturday
The city lists Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026. Thursday's collection happens Friday, and Friday's collection happens Saturday. The table's column heading still says 2025, but every row carries a 2026 date.
Six holidays are observed by the city's collection contractor. There is no collection on the holiday. Collection is delayed one day for the rest of that week, and Friday's collection moves to Saturday. A holiday on a Saturday or Sunday does not affect collection.
The page covers trash, recycling and yard waste. It also covers Christmas tree disposal.
