No change: collected on the regular day
Thanksgiving is not named as an exception, so under the city's rule collection stays on the regular day. The page does not name Thanksgiving, so confirm if timing matters.
Long Beach collects on most holidays. The exceptions are Christmas Day and New Year's Day: if either falls on a weekday, that day's collection and the rest of the week are delayed one day, ending Saturday.
The page covers refuse and recycling, and a related page lists organics as well. The page gives no 2026 dates.
